Success at AIU Atlanta
Dedicated solely to the success of its students, AIU Atlanta is proud of the outcomes its students and graduates have achieved.
To get the most from their studies and activities at the campus, students at AIU Atlanta attend classes in classrooms designed with every student in mind. AIU Atlanta provides students with an industry-current forensics lab; a virtual firearms training simulator (FATS) lab; drawing studio, dedicated math, science and writing labs, as well as newly, redesigned studios for fashion design, media production, visual communication and interior design. The campus is vibrant and thriving as evidenced by the recently completed major construction project of the Student Success Center.
AIU students laud our extensive faculty support, in-depth hands-on training, and the supportive campus environment. The campus has an excellent student/faculty ratio of 15:1. Students are taught by experienced faculty members, and our students are very satisfied with faculty’s performance. AIU Atlanta has 8,500 graduates from all around the world, and the University is very proud of the educational outcomes its graduates have achieved. Our graduates have also expressed a very high level of satisfaction and career accomplishment.
Our Students
AIU Atlanta’s students are a diversified group of approximately 2,000 men and women from different walks of life including students from the Atlanta area, nationally and internationally. Students range in age from 17 to over 50 and come to AIU from varying levels of educational backgrounds.
Our students are also very satisfied with their level of instruction and the faculty’s commitment to academic excellence and challenge. In the recent 2009 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) conducted at the campus, 65 percent of first-year students stated their faculty are available and helpful as compared to the national U.S. NSSE average of 58 percent.
Thanks to the efforts of our Education Partner’s program, the University is able to make higher education possible for many of our students through armed services experience or corporate backgrounds. Scholarships are also available based on established criteria as published in the University’s Catalog and awarded after verification of eligibility requirements being met.
Student Satisfaction
One of the reasons the student satisfaction rates are so high at our University is that AIU Atlanta supports its students all the way. The University seeks students’ personal feedback so the campus can continually improve and asked students to rate the campus in several ways. Each year NSSE surveys students at hundreds of colleges and universities to reflect on the time students allot to various learning experiences and activities. Questions are related to previous research studies on student success in college. AIU Atlanta ranks higher in most categories when compared to other similar universities and colleges in the southeast region:

Alumni Career Paths
The majority of AIU graduates from the Atlanta campus have gone on to pursue the kinds of careers they had hoped for when they started school.
