Are you looking to start pursuing one of today's hot careers? Do you already have a great career and want to advance within it? American InterContinental University Atlanta is the place for you. In the heart of the growing Perimeter business community, just 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta, AIU Atlanta offers challenging, market-current degree programs and classes taught by faculty members with real-world experience in the fields they teach. AIU Atlanta takes some of the best of the traditional, quality values of college education and combines them with industry-current curricula, classes that emphasize hands-on experience for students, and caring and inspiring instructors. Students can graduate from AIU Atlanta ready to start a career in business, information technology, fashion, interior design, game design, media production, visual communication or criminal justice. Some students have even had the opportunity to land an exciting job before they graduate from the university.
The AIU Atlanta campus provides on-site access to many labs and studios that help to enhance the learning experience. Students studying forensics have access to one of the few on campus forensics labs in the area. Additionally, there is a firearm training simulation system that provides decision making and weapons training to Criminal Justice students. The facility also includes a sewing studio, media production studio, game design studio, math lab, computer lab and an environmental science lab.
Each department at AIU Atlanta periodically reviews and modifies its course offerings to help you get the most industry-relevant education and career training. Classes are kept small so you get focused attention from instructors who have just as much experience in the real world as they do in the classroom. Instructors often use this real-world knowledge to generate hands-on exercises in the classroom similar to what you might experience on the job. Everything at AIU Atlanta is oriented to not only help you prepare for the job you want but also to help you succeed at it.
